Terms of service

1. The service

Vetto checks email addresses typed into your signup forms and returns a verdict (allow, flag, suggest, warn or block) based on the policy you set. It is provided “as is”. Checks are best-effort: if Vetto is slow, paused or over quota, your form submits as if Vetto were not installed (it “fails open”). Use the signed token and /v1/verify on your server if you need enforcement that bots cannot skip.

2. Your responsibilities

• Only add Vetto to sites you control, and keep your secret key secret.
• You decide what to do with each verdict and you are the controller of your visitors' data. Mention in your own privacy policy that signup emails are checked by a service provider (see our privacy policy for what Vetto stores).
• Do not use Vetto to validate bought or scraped lists, to build mailing lists, to probe other people's services, or to get around plan limits.

3. Plans and billing

• The Free plan has the limits shown on the pricing section and may change with notice.
• Pro is a Gumroad membership, billed monthly or yearly. Cancel anytime from your Gumroad receipt or library; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period, then your account returns to Free and your sites keep running on Free limits.
• The Founding Lifetime license is a single payment for Pro features for as long as Vetto operates. It is limited to the first 100 buyers and to the dates shown at purchase.
• Payments, taxes, receipts and refund requests are handled by Gumroad.
• Licenses that are refunded, charged back or cancelled return the account to the Free plan.

4. Availability and changes

We work to keep Vetto available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features; if we ever shut Vetto down, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to account holders.

5. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Vetto is not liable for lost signups, revenue or data, or for indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to what you paid Vetto in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

6. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Dashboard → Account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or abuse the service.

7. Law and contact

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Questions: reply to your Gumroad receipt (customers) or to any email you received from Vetto.
